What will other people say?!

Life begins and ends in a semicolon, leaving behind trails of unfinished businesses and songs that which has no meaning or purpose to remain in the mortal remains of one’s existence. Yet, it stays.

A life, once gone, to leave without any expensive or cheap luggage, to never return from the long journey Lord Almighty knows where; never really leave. The expression of their tragic or triumphant life will always be repetitively repeated in the course of everyone’s life; at least to those the demised were close or acquainted.

But, sad are of those who still live.

Those unfortunate souls who never receive a letter, cards or even flowers. Those who are forgotten to be contacted, not even for a mandatory birthday or anniversary wish. Those which are dusted under the rug yet still alive like a rodent without its tail. The one, whom people are forced to greet on an occasion, only because of the fear of what others might say or think.

What will they say? The single most overrated murderous slogan used by all age group alike. Even the dead are not safe from this quote.

What does other’s really say or think is irrelevant. But still, they have their own issues to swallow and spit and choke on; that they are too unbothered to nose in or butt in. And those who are wilfully nosey are curious to know what the insides of the other’s hairy nose are like; since theirs are dirty and unhygienic enough, that they wish to make others similar to theirs.

Well, to come to my point, the living.

Those unfortunate souls who are not famous enough to be dynamically loved or poor enough to be woefully pitied, are the ones I really feel sorry for. The ones who are invisible until they are needed. The ones who are lovable when one want something. The ones who are useful in situation when one ticks out every last box of options.

And the ones? They are always there. No matter how long and hard and soft or strong the blow is; they will always be there with a smile on their face and million tears inside. The ones who are the givers. With lots of anger, resentment, guilt, trauma, regret, emotions inside but still give out, everything they can with a smile. Even though at times it’s a bit too clenched for their liking.

Yet, they are the givers. And what do they get in return? What will other people say!
